Dorico 6.1….
Michael, as far as I know the chord symbols are highly customisable in Dorico. Are you using a specific font for your chord symbols?
Besides that you can change the appearance of the “minus” in Engraving Options>Chord Symbols>Chord quality>Diminished>Appearance of Minor triads>Vertical position (of diminished quality displayed in text)
It is possible to change the appearance of the minus sign from Baseline to Superscript or Subscript. Have a look whether changing the setting makes a difference.
Ich benutze Petaluma scrict regular.
Also nichts besonderes. Ich kann mich auch erinnern, dass in Vers. 5 noch die Möglichkeit bestand, aber in Vers. 6 finden ich das nicht mehr. Ich bin relativ nei bei Dorico, Finale Umsteiger.
I use Petaluma scrict regular.
So nothing special. I also remember that this option was available in version 5, but I can’t find it in version 6. I’m relatively new to Dorico, having switched from Finale.
In your German text you write “Minus Zeichen” which I guess is in the red rectangle.
In the English text that is “flat sign” which for me is this
I’m neither an English nor German native speaker, could you elaborate?
Michael, if you switch your Dorico application temporarily to English, you will find the options under: Engraving Options>Chord Symbols…
i mean the minus sign. it should be higher, bore in the middle of the letter
yes, I did, but there ist no option to bring the minus signe for minor a little bit higher.
hurrah!!, this was what I want. Thank you so much.
The combination is the trick.
Michael
