I think this (with dashed barlines) is exactly what the OP was hoping for.
I just discovered that unfortunately Daniel’s informative reply contains a typo, which you have now quoted. I believe he meant to write 3/4 | 2/4 (not 3+4). Just trying to reduce confusion.
Ah yes- now that I put my glasses on you’re quite right. the staves looked a little irregular from afar.
Could you please add the option for automatic barlines according to given grouping, with only a single time signature shown. It is a standard notation in 20th Century Music (there is hardly a Copland score without it).
This is pretty easy to do now, isn’t it? You have to specify where the dashed barline goes, but then it’s easy to copy or repeat as Daniel explained above. Is this the sort of thing you are trying to do, or something different?
