Dashed barlines measure division in regular meters

Hi there

I am wondering whether one can add dashed barlines to otherwise regular meters

ex: in 3/2 I want a dashed barline to show a 2+4 grouping. Do I have to use a composite meter to add dashed barlines, or can I do it in any meter?

You can use an aggregate time signature: type 1/2|2/2 in the popover, select the Time Signature and activate and check “Combine compatible aggregates” in the properties:
