How do I change a dashed line with downward pointing hooks into one with upward pointing hooks. Flipping doesn’t seem to have any effect.
Use the bottom panel to change the end cap properties of the line.

Properties: Placement-> Below. This will change down hooks to up hooks.
It will also move the line below the stave, but I cannot think of a reason you would want up hooks on a line above the stave…
