Date and time format when printing

Is it possible to modify the annotation date and time

to “YYYY-MM-DD, HH:MM:SS” with 24-hour notation without “AM/PM”?

If not, perhaps it can be a feature request (if not already on the list…).

I am from Finland. That “Mar 22, 2025, 5:21:57 PM” is almost unreadable for us. You need AI to interpret it into something understandable.

We use format “Sat 22.3.2025 17.21.57” or “Saturday 22 March 2025 17.21.57” and other variations of those.

I would like to have all of that. Without leading zeros, periods instead of colons, order of items like that, 24-hour time etc. CONFIGURABLE with variables, like many computer systems have, would be the way to go. :slightly_smiling_face:

These things are more important in my world than you might think. :upside_down_face: Desktop publishing has its local, important rules. You don’t want to give your professional clients products disobeying the rules.

I agree that a customizable variable for the date/time would be best.

As for the annotation line in Print Mode, I suggest being able to customize the file path, too, and adding 3 ‘zones’, Left, Center, and Right, where variables could be placed, with a paragraph format for each.

Or follow the OS Date and Time settings.

As an option possibly, but not only. My Mac show a mix with no logic.
Apparently some OS problem

I favour explicit custom formats.

Not even close to configurable enough, unfortunately. Especially for someone like me with several computers in different languages.
