Date wildcard bug

when printing/exporting to grafics/pdf with a wildcard $d for date it shows in the preview-filename “xxx-2025-12-29” as the filename itself is “xxx-2025-12-29.pdf
That’s clearly not today.
My Computer (Windows 11) shows correct date (2024).
This is the first time I experience this. A week ago all was fine, though no update of dorico itself (but of windows). Will be testing on another computer tomorrow.

Dorico: 5.1.51.2153
Windows: 23H2 22631.4602

Thanks for letting me know about this. It looks like we are incorrectly calculating the date using the “week year” instead of the “calendar year”. I must confess to not knowing a great deal about this (I’ve just read this Wikipedia page) but that’s definitely the mistake we’ve made. We’ll make sure this gets fixed for future versions, but unfortunately there’s nothing you can change in the software at present to make it produce the right date. It will start producing the right date again once we are really and truly in 2025! Sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime.

Thanks for your reply and thanks for pointing me to “Week Year” - which I never heard of before.
As expected - everything is fine, now that that week in between the years is over.
It wasn’t a big deal correcting the filenames by hand…
Thanks for that great piece of software and your incredible fast reponses to comments here in the forum!
