Sorry to nitpick, but in the text fields for DDP images, what on earth is the “ID code for mastering” field all about?
Never seen this option before - common fields are usually Client, contact, data preparer, application used, UPC/EAN codes etc.
Casn someone please let me know?
I believe … but do not know for certain … that this is simply for your own use to assist your studio and replicators to identify specific jobs or projects. The basis for this belief comes from limited experience using DDP with another program.
You would expect that information like this would be easily available from the DCA (Doug Carson & Assoc) site (since they developed it) but in my experience, it’s just not.
This is freely usable, without a predefined format.
