I find the De-Hum really non-intuitive. Here, I’m trying to eliminate a hum the module couldn’t properly detect and counterintuitively, the less reduction I apply, the more hum reduction happens. The module also fails to address higher frequency tones like the one around 1533 Hz. Wondering if this can be improved?
I recently had a solo guitar performance come to me, and the amplifier had a horrible little hum, and the performance was of extremely dynamic content.
I had to use the de-hum in RX that allows limiting filtering within a set frequency range, with a combination of the guitar de-noise amp module that got great results in the end.
The performance was tiny little taps on the humbuckers that generate harmonics and overtones etc, and then super loud content with great crunchy overdrive. I found that SL ate into the harmonic and overtone content super aggressively, and there are not a lot of settings to dial in nuance.
I think trying to set a fore center frequency is helpful, but maybe to specific and limiting for all cases, and the “Filter Width” is a Percentage, that goes from 100% to 300% as well…?
I prefer using Q but percentage works too.
