in the manual for Cubase Pro 10 it states to deactivate mute or Solo click Deactivate all mute state, where is this button or how do I click on it.
The buttons are available on the Cubase project page upper taskbar. If they are not visible you need to go to the taskbar settings and pick the “State Buttons” option.
