deactivate Rewire completely

Hi all,

I’m using Cubase and Ableton under Windows 7.

How can I deactivate Rewire completely? In Ableton I created an text “options.txt” to disable it as described in many forums. I also tried deleting or renaming ReWire.dll.
But crazy enough the file ReWire.dll always by itself get’s created again.
