I have looked in this forum, and i have been having problems with Nektar LX 88 causing Cubase to crash, but trying stuff that Nektar told me to do, it was seeming to have cured it.
I spoke too soon, as i had a ‘Serious problem’ again, but this time, instead of mentioning Nektar, the cause was Kernel32.dll.
I will attache the dmp file, and if someone could kindly look at it an tell me why, I would be most grateful, thanks Cubase 14.0.20 64bit2025.3.29 10.35.55.631.dmp (2.3 MB)
To me it looks like something ImpactLX88+SteinbergDAWControl64.dll calls something from the C** runtime, but that raises an out of bounds exception (e.g. nonexisting key in map or vector). That would be a problem of in the Nektar dll.
Steinberg does not update me when someone posts although it’s ticked
ST10SS - i will certainly remove any, as i prefer vst 3’s so maybe time to remove all others.
Fese - thank you for looking at the file and i will copy and paste that in my support thread at Nektar.
They do not know about the kernel 32 problem yet, as i sent it today and i think thay may be away for the weekend, which i don’t mind, as the same support agent keeps with my problem.
At the moment, i checked the computer memory, restarted it, as it seems kernel32 problems can be sorted by that sometimes
At the moment, I have had the LX and cubase on all day and not one problem, so I hope this is sorted, but i will definitely remove vst2’s and copy that error code to Nektar.
