If I use a decimal point in naming a mix when using the export audio mixdown function, the number after the decimal point does not appear in the file name.
If I use a comma instead, the coma will appear with the number after it.
for example. If I have a file I name
AW_103_1m02_shoppingv1.2
After I perform the Export audio mixdown function the file name will be
AW_103_1m02_shoppingv1
AS workaround you can test add “.wav” last in name.
I think it keeps it then finding a valid filetype.
Now it thinks you assign a file type “.2” and remove before adding “.wav”.
I am using a hyphen for now.
but to be clear I think my example was off.
I typically put the decimal after the cue number (not at the end of the file) as follows
AW_103_1m02v1.2_shopping
After I perform the Export audio mixdown function the file name will be
AW_103_1m02v1_shopping
In general, I am not looking for a workaround. I already cannot use question marks or apostrophes due to compression issues on windows.
