Deep start/stop bug

I am on Cubase 14.0.41, Sequoia 15.7.3

I have a deep bug, I was testing out a bunch of preferences (for other people at work) and I can’t get return to start position to work in Variaudio. When variaudio is activated, it just stops were the playhead is.

It does not do this on my laptop (I have same settings on my laptop).

I have never reinstalled or cleared preferences in my 15 years of Cubase, but would like to know what would be the appropriate action.

It was preference: Playback Toggle Triggers Local Preview (was doing a lot of testing so might have forget to toggle it off)
