I would like an option : “automatically propagate spellings”.
With possibility to override in properties.

Until then….if you’re editing a part, select the note you want to change and press W. This will switch you to the score layout, with the same note selected. Change the spelling there, which will change it in both layouts, then press W again to return to the part.
either that or my key command “propagate…
but I’m forgetting…(!)
