I’ve set default colours for audio, groups, fx and instruments in the preferences section. When I create new tracks, they automatically get the respective colour, with exception of instruments. These appear in grey and I have to colour them manually. Am I missing something? Or is this a bug?
Okay, solved. Well, sort of:
- It’s not possible to define a default colour for VSTIs in the VSTI rack (why not, actually?). It only works for standalone instrument tracks.
- I’m a moron. I never work with standalone instrument tracks (I had actually even forgotten that they exist
) and therefore, I thought that the colour that I had defined was for VSTIs in the VSTI rack. But it was not, obviously.
