Can I change the default curve type in midi editor to be ramp instead of step? I’m really happy for this feature but it bothers me to switch every single point

Press the arrow button at the bottom left of the velocity/CC lane in midi editor. You can set the default type for new controler event

Although I have set “Linear”, all new automation points are set as steps. Is there a default setting somewhere that Cubase 12 always remembers “Linear”?
If you record the data (from outboard gear) it will be always in steps. Cubase 13 received a feature addition so that you can record in ramps.
Thanks for the feedback. I want to enter the data by hand and want ramps automatically, so I don’t have to change it every time. is this possible?
