Default galley view not working

Hi all,

I’d like to open all scores in galley view as a default. And set so in the preferences. But it doesn’t work unfortunately. They are still opened in page view. Do you experience the same? What can I do about it?

(As another thing: is it possible to set galley view as the default for fullscores, and page view as the default for parts?)

The preference works for me. But note that when you save a project, Dorico saves the current view state of any open tabs. So if you are working in Page view when you save, Dorico will reopen that document in Page view.

AFAIK, it is not possible to set the defaults differently for score and part layouts.
