"Default Page" when Flow starts at top of page

Hi Guys! I have been a happy Dorico user since version 1, (and version 1 of Sibelius). The team rocks!

Even though the Flow Title is not blank in the project file, when any flow starts at the top of the page using ‘Default Page’ template, the page number is shown as a grayed out “Pag” not a page number and a grayed out “Flow Title” is shown on the screen and in the printed part. Example score uploaded.

Look at the Flute 1 part at the second flow. There is a Blue half note at the end of flow 1, repeat that note and the error goes away.

Default Page Issue.dorico (1.6 MB)

I am working on getting a score ready for publication and this has me stopped dead in the water. Are there any work arounds?

Thanks,
Tom

The pag goes away when unticking View->Token Placeholders.
Don’t know about Flow Title though.

I think there are two issues here.

  1. It sounds like you may want the page number and flow title to actually display on the page when a flow starts at the top of the page. If so, then set these options in Layout Options > Page Setup > Flows.
  2. There is a known bug in the current release that unpopulated tokens, which in v6 now display in gray on the screen, can incorrectly print that way as well. Hopefully this will be addressed in a maintenance update.
