Not sure if this is a new bug or it working this way in previous versions.
Create a new project and then select File->Import->Track from existing Project, in the dialog entire some search criteria to filter the track list. Then click “Select All”, what you will find is that not only has it selected all the tracks in the filtered list it has infact ignored the filter and just selected all tracks in the existing project.
Whilst not a major issue it’s a bad design and makes the filtering the list almost pointless to speed up the selection process.
