Are we talking about string sounds here, where some sound sets traditionally use a slow attack for smooth (pad-like) transitions?
Yes. And wind instruments as well. I just wanna turn it off. So I can get a more precise attack.
I don’t think the “fade-in” is a programmed effect that one can turn off in some sound sets. The fade-in may be part of the sound actually recorded in the first place, in which case one would have to find another sound set with a harder attack or advance the playback, which may not be easy to do in Dorico as opposed to a DAW.
