Hi
I have 2 tracks exactly the same and pan one left and the other right
If i add a 25ms delay to one it makes a wide sound.
Here’s the thing one side sounds louder then the other.
I’ve just watched a video of the same but the wide sound is equal left and right.
Any ideas please.

in my experience its normal, its called “Haas effect”

if all set correctly and meter shows the same volume on both tracks, you should hear the un delayed track louder because the first source that comes to the ear perceived in our brain as louder (in my experience )
so you actually can lower the volume of the un delayed track to balance it if need so

In this video at about 12 minutes Jason does the same but the balance seems OK to me
