Delete only one continous controller

Hi there.
I sometimes want to re-record CC1 modulation data, and until there is a decent way to overwrite the existing CC1 data in Cubase, I have to remove the CC1 lane before I run through on a second pass. For this, I use the function “Delete Continuous Controller”. The issue though, is that this also deletes the data in the CC21 lane, which I usually would like to keep. So my question is if it’s possible to preserve CC21, and only delete CC1?

Thanks - Peter

Perhaps the MIDI Logical Editor would do? The below MLE might do what you want once you select the MIDI part containing the CC1s to be deleted and trigger it:

Looks promising! How do I “activate” this script in the logical editor? Going into it and clicking apply? If so, is there a command to activate it without having to go into the Logical Editor?

Well, you first need to create it: Go to menu MIDI→Logical Editor→Setup.

There you can create it by adding the conditions as seen in the screenshot above and save it with a name you want. After that, you can always assign to it a shortcut in the Edit→Key Commands window, or just re-enter the logical editor menu and this time click on Apply Preset. This will bring all the available choices.

Aha! I only though there was the track/project transformer in the inspector, and not a dedicated logical editor for selected midi parts. Thanks!

The logic works like a charm - thanks!
