"Delete Overlaps" still does not work, while "Remove Overlaps" does. Nuendo 14

Choosing “Delete Overlaps”, either as a key command, or directly from Audio<Advanced, still does not work, while “Remove Overlaps” from a clip’s drop down menu (center of the clip) does. What is the difference, why should there be one, and how can we make this work consistently with a key command?

This has been frustrating since forever, and I had hoped it would be addressed in V14.

When using “Delete Overlaps” you have to select both the overlapped and the overlapping event. Then it should work.
