I’m a new user of Dorico. And for school purposes need to write n arrangement of a song which has only treble clef.
So I managed to hide the base clef for piano, but the problem is that the brace which is usually connecting the clefs, still is visible (see attached picture).
So my question is - can somebody help me to understand how to remove it?
Welcome to the Dorico forum.
In Engrave mode, select the brace and press Delete.
Alternatively just don’t use a Grand Staff instrument for this player. Instead you could use a sketch>treble staff and rename it (it still defaults to piano playback).
Thanks to everyone for the answers, I just managed to disable it in the Layout Options, as was mentioned previously.
