- Why 00:00:00.000 ???

This is everything, but intuitive, clear and straight forward.

If the function for deleting time ranges within a project (Time Delete) in Steinberg SpectraLayers appears unresponsive or blocked, this is usually due to an active layer selection, locked layers, or limitations associated with ARA mode.
I’m curious if this still happens when you’re selecting a similar range but avoiding 00:00:00.000 at project start. For example, beginning at 00:00:01.000; I’m willing to bet that the length populates properly.
I was unable to reproduce it with any manner of selection. In every case the length field populated just fine. I tested using SL13 Pro stand-alone, latest release.
While I’ll agree (or at least will not dispute) that there are bugs, the level of access to development here in the forum is pretty amazing to say the least. If you’ve ever tried to contact “You Bee Soft” (was that too ‘vitriolic’, dave?), then you definitely understand what it’s like to be utterly ignored for years at a time. We should count our blessings to be enjoying this level of access… just sayin’. Personally, I am very grateful for such access, and it’s a huge part of what keeps me handing over more cash with each new innovation.
It’s easy to come in guns-blazin’ because one is fed-up/contemptuous (my “Initializing, Please Wait, and wait, and wait” post was kinda one of those 
), but (I think) it’s also important to keep in mind what a masterpiece of innovation SL is, rather than allow it to become so mundane -simply because we’re so used to it- that all that remains are complaints and bugs. SL does a ton of things right; far more than it does in any glitchy manner.
