Not sure I’d call it “short”… 
…yet. 
I think the vocal needs greater clarity/definition/attention
to each syllable of the lyrics and
some more energy/character.
Perhaps experiment with series parallel compressors?
I think ya know what I mean.
Sounds good, though I agree with Jet about the vocal.
