Deleting a newly recorded clip from the timeline STILL sends file to the trash in the pool

This terribly dangerous and erroneous behavior should never happen. It even occurs after creating regions in the file. It only happens to newly recorded audio. So dangerous!

Please make fixing this bug a priority. It gets me every time.

I agree. This bug caught me once, years ago, now I’m aware but frankly, this is not good behavior. EVERY time I record voiceover, once I’m done recording and remove the unwanted takes from the timeline I have to then move them from the trash back into pool in case the client asks for alternates; deleting from the timeline should not put them in the trash.

I don’t think they consider this to be a bug. It’s the implemented behaviour since Nuendo 1.0 (… which doesn’t mean to say that it should be that way).
