I’m renotating a stretch of music I originally wrote in 6/8 into 2/4. When I delete the 2:3 eighth note tuplets, even with insert mode on, it does not pull the following music in, but leaves an unnecessary eighth rest. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug unique to dealing with tuplets that allow fewer notes in a beat than normal (as opposed to those that squeeze more notes into a beat)? Is there a workaround, and if not, is this something to be addressed in an update?
Is Insert Mode on or off?
Sounds like how it works for me. What I do:
- Click on the note after the rest
- Select to end of flow (I’ve assigned this to Ctrl-Shift-1)
- Ctrl-alt-left to move everything over
