Maybe they are used in the score?
Jesper
No there’re not in the score.

Did you edit any built-in playing techniques rather than creating your own? If so, then you’ll need to click the “revert” button (the left-pointing circular arrow) rather than the “delete” button; you can’t delete playing techniques that are factory-supplied, but you can revert them back to their default appearance.
no. I started from scratch .

Then it really must be in use somewhere in the project.
ok…it WAS in another flow. My mistake . Sorry for the confusion

Hi David - but how can i delete any experimental duplicated playing techniques (starred) which one creates whilst experimenting and learning the process? I’m finding duplicates are now interfering with the correct final versions.
I’m Daniel, not David ![]()
The first thing to do is “un-star” them, i.e. click the star again so it becomes unfilled. That will remove them from your user library and thus prevent them from appearing in new projects when you create them. Once you’ve un-starred them, provided they’re not actually in use in the current project, you can delete them.
Ok Thanks - will give it a go (sorry about the wrong Christian Name).
