Deleting via system track

Is there a way to make deleting larger sections of a track via the system track a little easier? For example, if you start a delete selection at bar 10 and end it at bar 125, there’s no delete icon (trash can) there. Unfortunately, you have to go back to the beginning of the selection to delete it. Or am I missing something?

My suggestion would be to display a delete icon at the end of the delete selection as well, or to add an option to the right-click menu.

This had been discussed several times from 2018-20 but unfortunately there was no improvement.

Seconded. I’ve never understood this and it would seem to be very helpful.

Knowing that, you could start your system track selection at bar 125 and end it at bar 10, right next to the delete trash can.

There is a “Delete Bars” menu command in the Edit menu, which will delete selected bars, without the need to use the System Track at all.

TBH, I haven’t used the System Track since c. version 3.
