I cannot see how to trial this release. Certainly not parting with upgrade money without trying, version 2 being so buggy…

At the moment, there is no trial version available for this release.
We are actively addressing reported issues in VST Live 2, and ongoing maintenance updates are being released as fixes are completed.
If you are experiencing specific problems, please list the issues that are most relevant to you, ideally including steps to reproduce them. This helps us to evaluate and prioritize fixes more effectively.
