I have lots of players in my project, I want to select a bunch of them and untick a particular flow (and remove them from it.)
If I shift+select all the players and try to deselect the few that should remain in the flow, any players in groups aren’t able to be deselected.
The only way to deselect players in a group is to make sure that only the players in that group are selected first.
Does anyone else experience this?
If you Ctrl+click (Windows) or Command-click (macOS) the group itself before you try to deselect the players in the group, it should work OK.

UPDATE: I solved this by using various manual workarounds, but maybe I should leave the original here in case there’s a better solution.
[Original post] I can’t get it to work. In my case (an opera score) I have four soloists representing ‘hecklers’, which I have grouped together, and a choral (grand) staff for the remaining ‘hecklers’ which I don’t want to be part of the group, but want to be placed in the score below the group. Dorico defaults to including it in the group. If I deselect it from the group, Dorico makes it the lowest staff on the score, so I move it up to sit below the soloists’ group. However, once it’s there it gets incorporated back into the group, and I’m back at square one. I can’t find a way of stopping that from happening.
I wouldn’t mind so much if it didn’t affect the bracketing of the actual group, though that’s something I can correct page by page manually if necessary.
