Device Panel loads in Cubase 8.5, doesn't in Cubase 9

I’m trying to make Roland MKS-50 Device panel from http://www.cykong.com/ work in Cubase 9, however the above mentioned .xml file installs as a generic “midi device” with no graphical panel, whilst Cubase 8.5 works properly and installs a device named Roland MKS-50 Juno + PG-300, which has a graphical panel.

Were there changes made to the device panels implementation in Cubase 9? How can I solve this problem?

There is an known issue in Cubase 9. MIDI Devices are not imported correctly.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully maintenance update will fix that.
