Hi. When recording my guitar direct in and using an amp sim plugin is it possible to not have to hear the dry guitar sound with the amp sound?
Try disabling ASIO Direct Monitoring.
Yes. You can disable the plugin on the input of your guitar input channel or create a separate fx channel where you can feed the dry signal of your guitar channel into this or disable it. Either way, you are always able to hear/monitor your dry guitar channel as it appears at the input of your sound device.
