As strange it may seem, I can’t find the way to transpose a selected part one octave up or down (or any other interval), just diatonically.

I solved the problem: Transpose Pitch Octave Down cmd + alt amd down arrow is what I needed. I found a useful Excel sheet someone uploaded with a list of the main commands.
