They don’t stop all discussion they only stop SOME discussions. You think they’ll like anyone badmouthing their product? Or even yourself? But they do let people let off some steam now and again.
They didn’t set it up as a free-for-all. And there’s plenty other forums that are and are more use if you’ve got a beef.
For what it’s worth the OP is asking a valid question and he’s had valid answers.

Can’t say I understand why it’s an issue for a person to say “Hey, I have this to sell of trade… PM me.” I see that on other manufacturer forums and they don’t seem to care. Having said that, this is their house and they can do whatever they choose. As a visitor I do have to respect their rules like I’d expect someone visiting my home to respect my rules.
I thought - given that some regular users here might have a need for a second dongle for mobile use, whatever - it might be good to ask here first.
