difference between function mirror and reverse

Dear support.

What is difference between function ‘mirror’ and ‘reverse’ ? (both are on the route of 'midi → function → 00 )
I think I understand exactly what ‘mirror’ is. And ‘reverse’ makes the notes ‘reverse’ too, just as ‘mirror’ does.
But what is the axle of the rotation of reverse function?

Hi,

Mirror is in fact, what the users expect.

For the Reverse, there is no axle. It inverts the order of the selected events rhythmically, causing the MIDI music to play backwards. For me, I never get an expected result. :slight_smile:

Does anyone? :smiley:… especially if note-ons and note lengths aren’t quantized :wink:.
