Difference between the Cubasis versions for iOS?

Is the upgrade from LE to full cheaper than just buying the full version or am I missing something?

Cubasis LE 3 comes bundled with a wide range of supported audio devices, which can be used to unlock the app from demo mode.

Once unlocked, you are able to get additional instruments and effects via in-app purchase. The same goes for the Full Feature Set In-App Purchase, which “updates” Cubasis LE with the same features of Cubasis at a reduced price.
