What is the difference between typing a title with Ctrl+i and double-clicking a token on the page to type a title?
The first one you are changing the actual title; the second, you are changing the specific text in the Text Frame.
If you leave the token as is, you can input whatever you like in the Project Info dialog and it will appear in the frame automatically.
If you double-click and change the text, it will not.
It all comes down to how often you need the same text.
If your pice is only one page long and for e.g. clarinet solo, there is not much difference between changing the “real” project title and changing the text on the page.
But if your title shows up on multiple spots (big title of the first page of the score, title of all individual parts, in small font at the very top of each and every page), using the token will make your life much easier, as changing it once will update it everywhere.
Thank you, it’s fixed. I used Google Translate. The translator is not perfect.
Don’t worry, we are pretty good in figuring out things here
