Hi Gius, i fave Cubase 10 with Halion Sonic SE i would Luke ti update ti Halion Sonic, but before i Need to know if there is differences of sounds in the GM bank, wich Is what i Need It for.
The answer is “yes” and “no”
“No” because HALion, HALion Sonic and HALion Sonic SE do all have the same standard factory GM sounds.
“Yes” because all three plugins allow to replace the factory GM sounds with other programs out of your collection. And as HALion Sonic has more factory sounds to choose from, it maybe easier to find an alternative (refering to sound quality and loading time) that fits your needs.
