Different divisi settings in parts and score

I’m working on a work for choir and orchestra, and I have a divisi-related question that I anticipate will only get worse when I start creating parts.

Bars 1–26: Choir sections (S/A/T/B) use one staff each (with divisi handled via multiple voices).

Bar 27 – End: Choir sections must split onto two staves each (e.g., S1/S2, A1/A2, etc.) for sustained divisi.

I need this staff split (to two staves) to happen before or at bar 27, specifically at the nearest available page break or system break that creates a page turn.

This would ideally be implemented independently and automatically in both the Full Score layout and the Choir Score layout, as their page turns will fall in different places.

What’s the best way to handle this layout-specific staff visibility change (one staff → two staves) anchored to a specific bar, but deferred to the nearest preceding page break?

Hi @ChrisM, I am not sure I understand what your question actually is. (If I misunderstood , please ignore this reply.)

If you put (in the Vocal Score Layout) a Frame Break at bar 27, this will make sure that the divisi remains at the beginning of the page. If you then want bar 27 to be immediately after a page turn, in your case you can set the initial page to 2 (in Layout Options>Page Number), so that bar 27 happens on page 4 (immediately after a page turn).
