I can’t notate different dynamics for each line in a multi-voice staff. I have Independent Voice Playback enabled, and I input the dynamic with the caret visible in input mode in Write Mode and I have the correct voice selected, but still no dice. What am I doing wrong?
Do you press Alt+Enter when closing the popover? If not, you need to.
Thanks. I don’t think it’s working. If I input a dynamic on the top voice, it still goes below the staff, and is attached the note in the lower voice, even though I had only the top voice selected.
Entering dynamics into an up-stem voice won’t automatically display them above the staff. You’ll need to select them and press F.

To get independent volume on two parts, one most usually have independent voices enabled in Play mode.
