Some of my Flows have a Title, Subtitle, Composer and Dates (4 lines), whereas others only have a Title (1 line). When allowing several Flows on a page, there are big gaps between the Flow heading and the first stave on the Flows that only have a Title.
Any suggestion on how to solve this?
You can create multiple Flow Heading templates and insert Flow Heading Changes. However – as far as I know – the changes are per page so it might not work if there are two or more flows on one page.
@Vadian is right, but the problem only occurs when there are two or more flow headings on one page (not just flows). In this case, use the 4-line heading and adjust the frame of the flow heading and the vertical spacing manually.
Thank you. However I cannot make it work. When I manually adjust the vertical spacing of a stave, the respective flow heading moves along and starts overlapping with the staves from the flow above. I cannot find a way to adjust, just the vertical spacing of the flow heading.
You have two types of handles for adjusting the vertical spacing: the larger squares at the top for moving systems and the smaller for moving individual staves. Crucially for this case, Flow Headings do not move when adjusting the smaller handles even if the final adjustment is the same. This is still true for single-staff systems (i.e. individual parts).
Thank you @hrnbouma. That works! I was trying to avoid manual adjusting, but I guess I cannot do it other way.
