Hi, I have been using Dorico since September (I’m 35 years Finale user) and I’m very happy with it. Now I should face editions for accordion that I had done in the past with Finale. Can you help me decide how to set the symbols and fingering for accordion correctly? I attach an example page.
Thanks in advance.
Does this thread help you?
Yes thanks this partially helps. But what about others symbols? Fingers underlined, Letter M or m for major and minor chords, etc.?
Hopefully you will get some other suggestions than this:
You could use (click on the note) Shift-X for M, m, d etc. There is a Cue or Grace size if you want to leave it as default but scale it (bottom left) without using a point size or percentage if one of those sizes works.
Because they are scattered near each other, you can select the same, then option/alt- click them wherever you need to place them without having to enter them each time.
Underline fingering, I suppose that could be done in the same way, selecting the same font as for Fingering and in the text dialog box, choosing Underline. (I have not tried this.)
When you say “etc.” if you can be more specific or mark in your attachment what you have not been able to do, so you get specific answers so you can complete it.
… thought I would post this link, related to fingering for anyone interested in this thread
Thanks for the link, it clarifies many things
¿ 3rd time lucky then
Otherwise post something specific here and someone will help.
