This might be a dumb question, but is it possible to have a different layout setting (eg space size) from the “normal” writing score with the condensed score? Thanks!
If you’re talking about the same score layout with or without condensing turned on, then no.
On the other hand, you can have as many score layouts as you want, and each layout can have different Layout Options. As long as you have the Set local properties Locally/Globally switch (top right edge of the properties panel) set to Global, any changes you make in one layout should affect all layouts, so juggling multiple layouts might suit your needs.
I always have a separate Working (full) Score and Conductor’s Score.
The working score is in concert and includes all instruments (including piano reduction where appropriate) and shows Cues while the Conductor’s Score is in transposed form with condensing activated and Cues hidden.
