Different mid-staff clef changes in different layouts

I’m building a combined horn in F part layout from two existing horn in C and G parts on 2 staves. I’m not merging the parts onto a single staff.

The originals change clef between treble and bass at various points. Is it possible to have the clef changes in different places in the layout with transposition overrides? Or do I have to create new players?

This is nothing to do with the default clef: it’s just that the choice of clef really depends on the notated pitch and not the sounding pitch. Bass clef might be sensible for one transposition, but not another.

You can select a clef and check “hide” in the properties panel, with Local Properties set to “Locally”:

Here I select two clefs in the F-Horn part (made as a duplicate layout with transposition override)

Then I check Hide, locally:

It also works the other way around, you can insert a clef in the F part, then hide it locally in the score or in the other part(s).
