Different midi channels for each pad?

Hi all,

Does anyone know how this is done, the manual implies that it is possible in both modes. I want to get this to work in Instrument mode. The manual shows an image of a toggle switch at the bottom left of the pad section, supposedly to switch between a specific channel and omni mode. I don’t have this on my GA5 for some reason. I can’t find any details on this anywhere. Any advice would be welcome. Thank you.

I think this might answer your question:

“For pattern pads, you can change the MIDI note assignment. For instrument pads, you can only change this if Use Hardware Controller Mapping is activated.”
