Different sound between reference track and a rec track when using wavelab 12 output filters

Hi! I have test the output filters in WL 12, I wonder why I get different sound when I have output filter on a reference track and then same filter listening to the direct monitoring going out to my analog chain?, nothing is inserted in the analog chain. If I listen with same output filter when I have record thru my analog chain with nothing inserted it sounds the same as the reference track. Best/Mathias
