Dear all,
How can I force systems to have the same width throughout the the score?
Now they differ because the staff names are aligned with the left frame edge.
Since there are different staff names (and sizes) per system, this influences the width of the each system.

I think there’s no global setting for this. You can only do it manually: switch on Note Spacing in Engrave Mode and adjust the left indent the offending systems.

I just found out I can adjust the ‘Minimum indent for systems with staff labels’.
With the right amount of spaces all looks okay.

Ah, very good. I didn’t think of that.
Nevertheless this solution is a potential waste of horizontal space on pages where a smaller indent would suffice. Perhaps a global setting could be added: always align left barlines?
