In a piano part (or for that matter in any instrument that uses more than one staff or in a full score), how can I create a time signature of 3/4 in the right hand and 6/8 in the left hand? (I’m assuming this is possible because I see music written that way — I don’t know that it was created with Dorico.)
I’m guessing this is in the manual somewhere but on first perusal I can’t find it. I’m not sure what to search for.
You create an independent time signature by terminating the popover with alt-enter rather than just enter.
So shift-M 3/4 alt-enter will make that stave independent of others.
Which one you choose make independent of the other is entirely up to the local context.
